Markdown table

Paste cells from a spreadsheet, open a CSV, or type in the grid. You get a Markdown table with a header row and a separator. Alignment can be left, center, or right. It stays in this tab.

How to use it

  1. Paste from a spreadsheet, or open a CSV. You can also type in the grid.
  2. Set alignment on a column if you need it. Left, center, and right map to the Markdown marks.
  3. Copy the table, or download it. A pipe inside a cell is escaped.

Questions

What does the Markdown table look like?

A header row, a separator row, then the body. That is the table GitHub and most previews expect.

Is the spreadsheet uploaded?

No. The paste stays in this tab.
